At Baptist Temple, our goal is to cultivate a family environment that will encourage you in your journey with the Lord. If you already know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, we hope our warm atmosphere, biblical preaching, and ministry opportunities will help you grow stronger in the Lord. And if you DON’T know the Lord yet, we hope to help connect you with Him in a meaningful way.

What to Expect

We know that visiting a new church can feel awkward. Though the only way to fix that is to simply walk in, we will do our best to be friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Here are a few questions you may have:

• What should I bring?  The only thing you need to bring is yourself and a heart that wants to learn and grow.  We’ll supply the music, the preaching from God’s Word, and some warm smiles.  
• What should I wear?  Some of our folks dress up and some dress down.  Though some of our ladies wear dresses, others wear slacks.  And while some of our men wear sport coats, others wear blue jeans and a clean shirt.  What you wear is not an issue with us.  We just want you to come.
• Will my vehicle be safe while I’m in church?  In order to help insure your vehicle’s safety, we have members of our Security Team monitoring the parking lot during every service.
• Where do I take my children?  Though your children are welcome to attend the adult worship service with you, we also provide classes just for them at both 9:30 and 10:30. Those classes are located in the South hallway.
